The Library Board meets in the Library at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month, except July and August.

In accordance with SECTION 7.3 of the Open Meetings Act [5ILCS120/7.3] the following library positions at the Bellwood Public Library exceed $75,000.00 per year. The compensation packages for Fiscal Year 2024:
Ashley Matthews, BUSINESS MANAGER: $88,961
Kara Spizzirri, DEPARTMENT HEAD: $83,663
Total compensation totals are comprised of salaries, medical/dental insurance, and IMRF contributions.
