An educational event designed to help develop your children's socio-emotional, literacy, and reading skills.July's program will feature Claire (they/she), the founder of Luna Luz Wellness, an initiative that weaves together three ancient healing practices to support humans today: mindful engagement with the earth through beginner-friendly gardening and outdoor mindfulness, body and breath exercises, and community sharing circles. They use the four elements as a framework for these practices, designed to remind us of our inherent connection to the natural world. For our environmental literacy day, Claire will talk about the importance of connecting to and caring for the Earth. They will also talk about the role of pollinators in our ecosystem and how they support us. Activities include a mindfulness moment and creating bee hotels that families can hang in their gardens/ outdoor areas, in addition to DIY tea bags. This is a kid and family-friendly program!Register for July's program here.
