SPECIAL & ACCESSIBLE SERVICES

The library offers a variety of services for people with special needs.  These include:

Low Vision Services

Large Print Books
Magnifying viewer
Talking Books

 

Homebound Services

Bellwood residents who are homebound may request delivery of materials to their door.  Available materials include regular and large print novels and non-fiction books.  For more information call the reference desk at 708-547-7393
 

The Bellwood Public Library is subject to the requirements of the American with Disabilities Act of 1990.  Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend any functions at the library and who require certain accommodations in order to allow them to observe and/or participate in any functions or who have questions regarding accessibility are requested to phone the library at (708) 547-7393 at least five working days prior to a function.
