MediaOnDemand uses the same password that gives access to our SWAN Catalog.

If you do not have a SWAN password (PIN), you will need to create one at

  1. Enter your name as it appears on your library card (if it has a middle initial or a hyphen in your name, use it)
  2. Enter your 14-digit library card number
  3. Create a PIN using at least 4 characters. Numbers, letters or a mixture of both are allowed.
  4. You will be prompted to enter the PIN two more times to confirm it.
  5. Supply a valid email address by clicking on the “Modify Email” link on the left side of the screen.  This will allow you to reset your PIN if you forget it.

Once you have created the SWAN pin, it can be used at Media On Demand to check out ebooks and downloadable audiobooks:

  1. Go to 
  2. and click on "Account" in the upper right corner.
  3. Select Bellwood Public Library from the drop-down menu
  4. Enter your library card number
  5. Enter your PIN

If you have forgotten your SWAN PIN:

  1. Go to 
  2. Click on the “Forget Your PIN?” link
  3. Enter your name as it appears on your library card
  4. Enter your 14-digit library card number
  5. Click "Submit."  An email will be sent to the email address on your record with directions on how to reset your PIN
